Banksy Replicates Great Sphinx of Giza
Earlier Today, British artist Banksy, invaded Queens, New York, to replicate the Great Sphinx of Giza. The theme of “Better Out Than In” is again reiterated providing another piece of street-set art while taking a break from the typical gallery viewing.
A 1/36 scale replica, the miniature Sphinx was constructed from smashed cinderblocks. With typical Banksy wit, he advises the viewers not to drink the replica Arab spring water. Look for “Better Out Than In” will continue through the end of the month.
