Behind the Brand : Baus Haus

There is a new clothing brand trending in the streets of Atlanta that has our attention. Welcome to the Haus of Baus. Baus Haus represents androgyny. They carry many items that men and women could wear, ranging from snapbacks to graphic tees. Inspired by innovation and art, the brands founders’ Keisy Myumi and Sarah Toran aspire to deliver fresh and edgy looks to their customers. We had a chance to catch up with Keisy to learn more about her brand. Check it out below:

VVS Society : When did you come up with the idea of starting the clothing line?

Keisy: Sarah and I met a couple of years ago and we bonded over our fashion backgrounds. Sarah has a degree in Fashion Merchandising & Management and graduated from The International Academy of Design & Technology and I am an experienced model with my own bikini line. Sarah has a tomboyish, eclectic style. On the other hand, I am much more classic and feminine. Last year, we wanted to blend our tastes into a fashion line that would appeal to men or women, while still maintaining the independent aesthetic of Haus of Baus.

VVS Society : It seems to us that HAUS OF BAUS is more than a clothing line… what would you say your brand represents?

Keisy: We believe Haus of Baus is part of a style movement in America. Consumers want affordable and unique pieces that they can incorporate into their everyday wear. Part of this movement also involves establishing collaborations with other independent fashion designers and creating a platform to feature their designs at Haus of Baus.
