On it’s quest to being the number one Smart Phone Platform, The Android is becoming a rockstar. Keeping in line with its savory operating system names, Google has announced its latest Android platform done in collaboration with Nestlé’s confectionary treat KitKat. Although the team-up seems like a belated April Fool’s joke, both parties are, in fact, quite serious. The Android mascot, for example, will be made out of KitKat bars and be linked to a promotion wherein participants can use codes found inside KitKat wrappers to win Google Play app store credits and Google Nexus tablets.
Playing on the theme, KitKat’s Chief Breaks Officer explains in the video after the jump why KitKat 4.4 is the future of confectionary. For future updates, head over to the official Android KitKat announcement page.
